Terms of Service & End User License Agreement (EULA)

Last updated: 16 May 2026

By creating an account or using SpeakPair ("the app", "the service"), you agree to these Terms and this End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

0. Zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users

SpeakPair has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. There is no warning system for serious violations. Any user who displays objectionable content — including nudity, sexually explicit acts, hate speech, harassment, threats, or illegal content — or who behaves abusively toward another user, will have the offending content removed and their account ejected from the service.

By using SpeakPair you explicitly agree that you will not create, upload, transmit, or display objectionable content, and that you will not abuse, harass, threaten, or harm other users. Every user can report and block any other user at any time (in-call menu and post-call screen). We review every report and act on objectionable content within 24 hours by removing the content and ejecting the offending user.

3. Acceptable Use — zero tolerance

SpeakPair enforces a zero-tolerance policy. While using SpeakPair, you must NOT:

Violations may result in immediate suspension, permanent ban, and (for illegal activity) reporting to authorities.

4. Reports and moderation

You can report users via the in-call menu or post-call screen. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. While under review, the reported user may be temporarily restricted from matching.

We act on reports in good faith. False or malicious reports may themselves result in action against the reporter.

5. User-generated content

You retain ownership of anything you say or display in calls. By using SpeakPair, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process call metadata (duration, participants, ratings) for the purpose of operating the service. We do not record video or audio.

6. Termination

We may suspend or close your account at any time for any reason, including:

You may close your account at any time from the Profile tab. Closure does not entitle you to a refund of any unused subscription period.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

We are not responsible for the conduct of any user. You interact with other users at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 10.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or reputation.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operator from any claim, demand, loss, or damages (including legal fees) arising from:

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of business. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by contacting support@speakpair.com first will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis (no class actions). Either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual-property or unauthorized-access claims.
